Fun Game

http://www.scifi.com/tripping/game/

I've never watched the show that this goes along with, but the game is fun. And it kept me from doing my paperwork for a good half hour...Bastards...

Mac OS X Tiger is very cool

I have been playing a little bit with the new OS, especially "Dashboard", which allows little programs called "widgets" to run on the desktop. Very cool things like sports scores, stocks, maps, calculators, small movies, webcams...I was in Columbus from Tuesday evening through Wednesday afternoon and ran into big storms on both drives (to/from). But on the plus side, I got to see some old friends (I've know Caroline since high school - that is a long time ago for me) AND I got to go see a movie (a rare luxury). I saw Mr and Mrs Smith, which I thought was very cool. Not great, but a fun couple hours. And I like the two leads...regardless of the bad press lately.

Thunderbirds are Go!

I saw this movie Sunday night and thought it was worth the price - free on cable (not counting the high prices we pay for all the pay channels. I vaguely remember the puppet version and this live-action one was pretty lame. But it was directed by Jonathan Frakes (from Star Trek: The Next Generation). He even had his wife playing a reporter in the flick - Laura from General Hospital from way back (Genie Francis). Man, I feel old. I remember when she was young. I was, too...

Mac OS X Tiger

Just installed the new OS for Mac - and it seems to have some very cool features. I'm too damned tired to play with it tonight. Maybe later, if I can catch up enough on my paperwork tomorrow to have some free time in the evening...

I saw Batman Begins...

That was my Father's Day gift (to go to the movies). Batman Begins was probably one of the best comic book related movies I've seen. I'd definitely rank it as #1 of the Batman movies. Currently, my favorite comic book movie would probably be Spiderman 2 and Superman 1 and 2 with the first X-Men movie up there, too. I own the Hulk, Daredevil, etc...but they were very average.

Celebrity Matchmaker

Nicotine, your match is Jennifer Aniston!

Who cares if she's married to Brad Pitt? Jennifer Aniston is meant for you! This warm, happy-go-lucky California girl always looks good, and her goofy sense of humor makes her approachable, too. With her friendly ways and comfortable style, she's got the appeal of a girl next door — or maybe an all-American sorority sister. Since you're into attractive, fun-loving women who enjoy being pampered and taken care of, that makes her just your speed. Sure, she may have a little attitude, but she is a big star. Her spontaneous nature and sexy looks make up for occasional holier-than-thou posing. And that endearing vulnerability she occasionally lets the world see completely melts your heart. Enjoy — not just anyone scores this special "friend."

Who knew? Guess I'll have to tell my wife that it's over and I'm moving to L.A...

Is the Batman movie decent?

I really want to see Batman Begins. Thought I'd be able to tonight, but had a party to go to. Tomorrow, I'm off with the child to visit family in Michigan (they are moving in a week so we thought we'd see them one more time). Doubt I'll get the chance to see it there so maybe on Father's day, I'll go solo. That'd be a decent gift!

What is your vacation style?

Nicotine, your vacation vibe is Sun-Drenched

Sun, sun here we come! You worship the rays and can't wait to hit the beach when you head out of town. Laid-back and friendly, your top priority is lying out by the pool or basking on the hot sand. After all, it's just not a real vacation unless you come back with a tan.

Whether you love the tropics for their slower pace, hot weather, hot bodies, umbrella drinks, water activities, or lively nightlife, there's nothing like making a break for all that sun country has to offer. So, grab your bathing suit and beach book and lounge the day — and stress — far, far away. Ahhh...

Before you pack your sunscreen and shades, you’d better book your next tropical getaway. Soak up the sun of the Caribbean or feel the sand between your toes in Florida.
