My other blog

I've been cheating on Nicotine's Ash. Nicole first caught me (damn that blogmad) and now my secret's out.

I have another blog.

About 2 months ago, I decided to start a site to help people get into pharmaceutical sales as a career. I get asked virtually every day for help in that area, sometimes from people already in the industry and sometimes from people trying to get in this industry. I've been a rep for almost 14 years with two different companies and have helped many get in - so I figured it might make it easier if I start a site I could refer people to. Also, if I submit their resume and they get hired by MY company, then I get some $$$. And it is a nice little amount of $$$. Some of you may have noticed this site from my profile page, and I thought it was time to explain it to everyone (especially after Nicole stumbled upon it surfing Blogmad). It's seen a lot of hits from myspace (a nice recruiting tool, actually) and obviously from blogexplosion and madblog. Also, I've sent a lot of my friends there who are unhappy at their current company. If you know anyone interested in a good sales career, send them to PharmaJobsHelp.

Reasons Why you shouldn't post your picture on the Internet

This is funny stuff but something which can happen to anyone, so be aware if you are posting pics online. I laughed very hard at this poor kid's misfortune and the time spent to photoshop these photos.

I love BlogMad

BlogMad

I haven't seen any other site draw more traffic to my site. I've gone from 10-20 hits/day up to 80-100 hits/day. And that's without trying very hard. Try it out! Your site won't be a secret anymore!

Nicotine's World Tour 2006

Continuing from last weekend in Washington DC, this time I am in Detroit (with Nicorette). The wife has the weekend off while the Child and I visit family/friends in Detroit. My father is in from New Jersey, so we did the drive (yay for GPS, boo for closed roads) up to Detroit yesterday. Going to the Zoo today - that makes three zoos in three weeks for me...

Coming up on the World Tour 2006: West Palm Beach,
Orlando, Toronto, and ?

Not exactly World, but it is International. Toronto is for business, but should be fun since I haven't been there in awhile...

Any trips coming up for anyone that sound fun?

Total Recovery

Looks very different from the photo. In case there's any new readers, Chewie was dropped from the groomer's table and had over $4000 worth of injuries/surgeries afterwards. He spent a lot of uncomfortable time at the vet's office, including a number of overnight visits. Now, he's better and I thought people might enjoy seeing the recovered white schnauzer.

What would Jack Bauer do?

Apparently, Jack Bauer (from Fox's 24) is the new Chuck Norris. If you don't buy that, you probably don't watch the show. But click this link if you don't believe me. Pretty amusing stuff...

Will Ferrell is not Dead

Contrary to news reports, Will Ferrell is not Dead. I received a call today that said Will Ferrell had died in a paragliding accident. My friend had heard this on the radio but could not confirm it from another news source. So, I checked around the internet when I arrived home to find the link to debunk the "news story". Pretty sick, actually...

In DC and enjoying the weather

We are in Washington DC (the Wife and I) and it is about 70 degrees. Unbelievable! We are staying right near the Capitol building, which we walked by today. We went to the National Archives and saw the Declaration of Independence, the Bill of Rights, the Constitution etc. Tomorrow, the Holocaust Museum and hopefully, the National Zoo. Fortunately, I brought my computer and the room has free broadband. How cool is that? Anyway, I didn't expect to blog this weekend (and I might not again until I'm home), but there it is. Hope everyone else is having a fun weekend - I'm just being a dumb tourist.

P.S. The Metro is very cool. I have rarely seen such a clean subway system.

Thanks to K-sra for this link. You can make your own caricature. Not too bad...Couldn't find a hair style that worked, but this is what my hair would look like if it grew out a few months...

R.I.P. Jack Wild

Jack Wild, who died yesterday, was the Artful Dodger in Oliver and played Jimmy in H.R. Pufnstuf. He didn't do too much after that but those were such cool roles that it doesn't matter much. I bought the DVDs for H.R. Pufnstuf last year and decided that they didn't hold up as well as I thought they were. But when I was a kid, I loved those shows, along with some of the similar shows like Land of the Lost, Lidsville, Sigmund and the Sea Monsters, Jonny Socko and his flying robot, Spiderman and Speed Racer cartoons...etc.

Anyone have a favorite old show from when they were a kid? Nicorette's favorites (this week) are Dora the Explorer, Go Diego Go, Hi-5, and most of the Disney cartoons...like Kim Possible, princess shows...

Turkey Song

This is a song the Child had to sing at day care for Thanksgiving. Cracks me up a bit - couldn't get it to upload in November. Figured it out now...You might have to turn the volume up a bit.
