The Village
Just saw this movie. I thought the acting was great, the story was OK and I knew the major plotline twist before the first act was through. But it was visually very nice and, though not in the top three movies I've seen this summer, it'll place in the top 10 before August is over, most likely. The lead female, Ron Howard's daughter Bryce, was the highlight. Also, Jacquin Phoenix was excellent.

I loved this movie. There were some parts that were a bit slow-moving due to the dramatic effects, but the acting was wonderful. I did enjoy Bryce Howard's performance! And of course I love Joaquin...um..strictly for his acting skills of course!
