Dude: NOLA, huh? Hope you have a good time. Was down there in late Feb for business/seminar (stayed at Marriott on Canal, very close to Harrah's), and my candid opinion: HATED IT ! Filthy and overrated city (same way when I was there 7 yrs ago)......if "charm" means a liqour store on every other street corner, litter strewn around randomly, and an apparent aversion by the locals to a full set of teeth, then I guess it has some. Only way I could even possibly stomach that dump if is I was totally boozed up during boobie-flash of Mardi Gras, but since that's not my scene anymore, I suggest they evacuate the place, break down the levees, and let it become an aqua-conseratory. But I digress......
