Geauga Lake today
Since I have some extra vacation days And since I had promised the child a visit to a waterpark, today we went to Geauga Lake. We spent the entire time at the waterpark, after winning a stuffed dog (total cost=$1). She had a great time and is sleeping well tonight. And I realized that though many others are in better shape than me, there are far more who are not. Still, I probably should make more of an effort...

Nice dog! I like Geauga Lake, our company used to have their picnics there and we'd get discount tickets. I'm not a roller coaster fan, but I'm a carnie-food fan (carmel apples, funnel cakes), and I like the spin-in-a-circle-till-you-puke rides.
It looks like you guys had a great time!
We had a lot of fun. She especially did and best of all, she was tired when it was bedtime. This is important. It's a different experience going to an amusement park with a 3.5 year old. No coasters (unless there's a kiddie one). Lots of junk food (no problem there). We will try it again when we have my company picnic (and my wife's actually since we're with the same company) at Cedar Point in a week and half.
That Jar-Jar Binks look is good for you, especially with glasses. ; )
I didn't realize the hat looked like that! Good call. However, since I cut my hair so short, I have to wear a hat in the sun (though not for work since I'm in and out of doc offices all day). Still, I ended up sunburned some. Luckily, the child was unscathed. With her fair skin, I was told to use lots of sunblock.
And the glasses are so Jar Jar would not be recognized.
