Chocolate Day (one day late)
Tara of Eclectic Spaghetti declared yesterday Chocolate Day.
Here's our contribution, one day late. Of course, it beats out today's holiday, Liver and Onions day!

There's something about the sight of kids eating chocolate and getting it all over their faces that makes chocolate more appealing. I don't know, I guess the kids make it look very edible. I have a photo of my nephew during his 1st birthday and he's got chocolate all over his face and looks ecstatic.
You HAVE to have those pictures. My brother in law once said (in response to a photo of the child covered with paint) "The parent who won't let their kids get all messy are the ones that scare me".
Yeah, my parents let us all get dirty and we were happier for it. My other brother turned into this obsessive compulsive-ish kind of parent because of his wife, and it spread to at least one of the kids. I once saw one of my nephews get freaked out about snow on his pants. Not good.
