Fantastic Four

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

It is my wife's birthday tomorrow (33) and we did a date night. Went out to dinner (sans child) and a movie. She surprised me by picking this movie. We enjoyed it and you didn't need to read the comics to like the movie. It was light fluff, which is good sometimes, as opposed to Batman Begins (a far superior, though different, movie). The wife noticed that Jessica Alba's main job was to have cleavage, but I'm OK with that, and since SHE chose the movie...well, we all won...

Invisible Girl with Hypnotizing Cleavage Action! And here I thought all she did was turn invisible.

I would like to see Fantastic Four one of these days. It does look fun.

Yeah, it was worth seeing. And the Hypnotizing Cleavage action was great, but it wouldn't work in battle, since she kept disappearing. Maybe she should decide which power was more important...I think it'd be a tough choice...

This is a little off the topic, but I just rented the movie "Constantine". My mom watched it with me, and we both really enjoyed it! It's dark, so it's not for the kids, but wit and humor is peppered throughout the movie, and the special effects are impressive. Keanu Reeves is Constantine, but that's not one of the reasons why I rented it. Nope, not I. Well heck, yes it is.

I actually bought Constantine. But, a little background first...I used to really enjoy the comic it was based on (Hellblazer). In fact, the folks at the comic store where I used to frequent would joke that I'd buy anything with the word "hell" in it (ie. Hellboy, Hellblazer, etc). So I was interested in the movie, but don't get out to the theater much anymore. I was disappointed in the choice of Keanu Reeves, because Constantine is supposed to be an obnoxious Brit, not Neo...However, I had heard it was decent and I must agree. I really thought it was entertaining. So, I agree with you (aside from wanting to see it due to Keanue!)

They did a great job with the Torch special effects...He also seemed to have a fun time in the role...

I finally got this movie through Netflix and really enjoyed it. I also rented Mr. & Mrs. Smith. I actually preferred "Fantastic Four". I was bored with "Mr. & Mrs. Smith".
