Hey look, he writes too.
Thought I'd actually write a few paragraphs since it's 5:40 am and I'm up again. Once I get my 4 or 5 hours of sleep, I'm good. Nah, not really. I'm usually tired and sometimes pass out while giving the baby a bottle, but it's OK since I haven't dropped him yet. I think he bounces, though since he's a boy. Dunno.
So for Thanksgiving, Nicorette is going with the wife to Cleveland to visit her family and I'm staying with Nicotine Jr (all 10 months of him) in Orlando. It made more sense since we waited too long to make travel plans and I'm lacking key vacation time. The wife is still on her job search and we've been on once income for a number of months. Luckily, I can go days without food. Actually, she's close with a few companies including the old one. One of them should work out soon, or I may have to sell my computer and drop internet access. Or, I guess I can sell some of my rapidly declining stocks. I was lucky enough to put away a decent amount for a rainy day. And Orlando is the lightning capital of the U.S.
I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving. For my Canadian friends, I hope you have a good Thursday. I'll be doing takeout and trying to see how much turkey a 10 month old can eat so he'll sleep through the night and into the morning.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving, Nicotine! I hope Nicotine Jr. likes turkey. Maybe he'd like stuffing too? That's bite-size. I can't wait for Wednesday after work. I have to work till about 8:30pm, but then when I get home I might make the cheesecake for Thanksgiving. A fifteen minute preparation. My kind of cooking. :D
Oh that sucks that you can't all go together. But probably a good thing after all because 10 month old kids don't tend to travel well on long trips. Hope you guys have a great Thanksgiving! :-D
Tara: Thanks! Nic Jr and I picked up Boston Market today since I'm too lazy to cook everything. I'll probably cook some, but since he's limited to baby food with some very small pieces of everything else...I'll eat most of it over the next few days. I even got a sweet potato pie (genuine southern cooking) from a place downtown. You have a good Thanksgiving, too!
ananke: Thanks! I hope yours is great, too.
Happy Thanksgiving, Nick!
I do hope your wife gets one of those jobs. I can't imagine what it's like to live on one income with a family of four. I can barely afford my shoe collection.
Happy Thanksgiving and try to enjoy your time alone with Jr.
Hope things work out for your wide and the job. Hang in there!
BB: Thanks...you can imagine the stress my wife is going through. Living near a Jimmy Chu store (hell if I spelled that right) and she can't buy a thing due to her lack of income.
Stinky: Thanks! I hope you had a good Thanksgiving, too.
