Homemade Bagels
I made these last night. Found a recipe on foodtv.com and tried it out. I'm not into baking as much as cooking, but these turned out great. They look strange but taste great. I'll definitely make them again. Nicorette liked them, too.

I wonder how they'd taste if you mixed in a little cinnamon during the baking process....
Hugh: I'll try the cinnamon next time, perhaps with some extra sugar. They seriously taste good so I'll probably make them again...
Those bagels look great!
My mom makes donuts out of the Pillsbury biscuits. She just fries them up and then throws them in a paper bag with sugar, shakes em up and voila, we've got sugar donuts. They're easy, but I haven't tried making them myself.
Tara: that sounds good. I was considering making donuts after seeing them on a few Food Network specials. Maybe I'll try your mom's method.
