I was working this evening (taking docs to a dinner talk) and got there early. This was the view. Not bad for February.

We were taking a break at the mall. I enjoyed the Apple store (I'm on the verge of getting an iPod touch). She enjoyed the candy store and got some clothes at the Gap Kids. I think she's coming down off a Jelly Belly high.

He liked the pasta - didn't care for the green beans or mushroom chicken. At least he's eating well. Hard to tell, but not only was HE covered, the chair was covered in red sauce. That's what wipes are for!

Went to get takeout from Outback with Nicorette. It was too long a wait to eat in, so we figured we'd take out and have dinner with Mommy (Nicotine Jr had already gone to bed by the time we got home)...

This didn't last long, but took a lot of effort. There's so much going on that little Nicotine Jr doesn't want to nap. At daycare, he naps. When he's with me, not very much...

She had about 10 ponytails in her hair. And though it looks like twins in this photo, there's only one Nicorette...This was in the morning while getting ready for school/work/daycare.

Watching a DVD on the way to school. You can see all the boxes (some empty) from drug samples in the back. She's oblivious. Can't remember what she was watching, possibly Strawberry Shortcake. I know it's bad, but it's not every drive and it gives me a few minutes of quiet. Since my wife is out of town again this week - and I'm getting very little sleep due to the little one's crappy sleep pattern - I'll do it if I have to...to stay sane!

Cool part of the race, running on the beach. Sorry for the glare. Wearing long sleeves since it was cool this morning. Not at this point. I hydrated often. This is the same view I had from my hotel room last night (of the beach).

At Marathon in Jacksonville FL today (prerace)

I finished the half marathon in 2:38. Not bad for someone who is out of shape. I'm a bit sore, stiff and tired. Cool race, though. It actually goes right on the beach (running on sand) and supports Breast Cancer research. About 7000 people ran, walked, etc. Nap time now, hah, after the 3 hour drive back.

Saw Santa today (in from the North Pole [Wisconsin]) while at Sea World. He seemed in good spirits while on his vacation.

We fed the dolphins, sting rays, sea lions/seals. Expensive, too, but Nicorette enjoyed it and it was cool seeing the animals up close.

Last month...This was right after the girls attacked a pinata filled with candy. They were diving for laffy taffy and tootsie rolls like they were made of gold. Pretty funny.
