Same old George W. Bush...
Finally got to see the second part of Tarantino's flick. It was very cool, especially the last part. I decided I'll start giving ratings to the movies I see (and TV, too) on a 10 point scale, with 10 being best. On that scale, I'd give Kill Bill Part 2 a 7. It was good and, with the first part, makes a nice total package.
Rented this movie tonight and we thought it was very cute. Of course, anything Jennifer Garner is in goes up a notch (or 10) in my eyes. It was worth the rental and I look forward to seeing her make more comedies, along with her action movies (and Alias, or course).
Saw this one (French) last night. The group I was with enjoyed it, as did I. Hard to explain, though it has interesting characters, good acting, and is somewhat bizarre, especially at the end. Could be interpreted in a number of ways. Worth seeing (and has won awards).
I just saw the premiere two hours of Lost (tv series) by the same creator who did Alias and was very impressed. I think this show is going to be one of my favorite for the new season. Very high production quality, story, acting, suspense etc...
Just saw this movie. I thought the acting was great, the story was OK and I knew the major plotline twist before the first act was through. But it was visually very nice and, though not in the top three movies I've seen this summer, it'll place in the top 10 before August is over, most likely. The lead female, Ron Howard's daughter Bryce, was the highlight. Also, Jacquin Phoenix was excellent.
