The dog hates thunderstorms. He crawled up on my shoulders and then onto the top of the couch. Had to take a quick photo. It goes back to when we had an Invisible Fence in Ohio and he got zapped a few times. Right before the zap, it makes a noise that is exactly like the noise a smoke detector makes when the power goes off. So he assumes when there's a storm, the power will go off and he'll get zapped...Even though he hasn't been zapped in about 4-5 years and even though we don't own an Invisible Fence in Florida. I like his demon eyes, too...!

They needed to leave the restaurant so we walked around for a little. They were watching the traffic and waiting for mom to come out so we could leave. I like the pose here and you can really see the height difference that 5 years can make. As a reminder, she's 6 1/2 and he's 1 1/2. Hard to believe that...

Nicotine Jr watching the elephants, though I don't think he can see over the wooden barrier. He especially liked the monkeys, the cheetahs, the leopards and the snakes. His favorite part was the mini water park. It's a bunch of fountains that the kids can run through or get soaked by. Nicorette and Nicotine Jr got soaked. Those pictures are still on my camera...

Kindergarten Graduation Day

After graduation, the two of us went to Disney Hollywood Studios for Star Wars Weekend for the afternoon. She was very brave and went on Star Tours, the Star Wars flight simulator. We ate lunch at the Brown Derby, with mixed results. Oh, and at graduation, she was to receive awards for athletics, math, english, reading, science. Very cool and a good year.

Crying

He wanted to go outside (where the dog was). He's wearing his sister's hat. The crying lasted very briefly, but I thought it was cute. His shirt didn't stay clean for long since he got sweet potatoes and turkey/gravy all over it (from Boston Market).

This is what they do in Kindergarten at the end of the day when they're waiting for parents to pick up their kids. Anything that will keep the kids busy and entertained.
