He had fun at the playground at Epcot. You can see he has a cut that looks a little like a goatee from an accident at school. He was pushed into the corner of a shelf by a friend (by accident). Didn't seem to bother him or slow him down.

Disney Visa special meet & greet

As a Disney Visa card holder, they have a special meet & greet with the characters at Epcot. You also get a free 5x7 photo of the event. I think this is the 2nd or 3rd time we've taken advantage of it. We went for the flower and garden festival and had a nice time of it (with the wife out of town for a wedding)...

And he was. This was at lunch - later in the afternoon, he napped from 3:15 until 5 when we woke him up for dinner. Long weekend, I guess. He's worried about the economy, I think.

Megacon 2009 - Luciana Carro

One of my favorite parts of the convention is talking to the artists, writers and tv/movie people. This time I met Luciana Carro, a very cool lady who had a nice role as Kat in Battlestar Galactica. She was also in Everwood, Doctor Doolittle 3, and a bunch of other stuff. I met James Hampton, who played Caretaker in the original "The Longest Yard". He was the father in Teen Wolf and played in Slingblade and F Troop. I met Phillip Morris, who plays Martian Manhunter in Smallville and played Jackie Chiles on Seinfeld (among many other roles). Lou Ferrigno and Margot Kidder were there, too, but I didn't speak with them.

This is my second time going to Megacon. I took my daughter last year, but being unemployed - I thought it would be easier to go on a friday when everyone was busy. Anyway, a cool event. I met some interesting people and saw some cool costumes. This girl was dressed as Power Girl friday. I saw some photos on flickr of her from Saturday and she was dressed in another costume. I think she was with two men dressed as Superman. I'll post a few other photos, too...
