Happy Birthday to the Wife!
We went to a Hibachi Japanese restaurant with the kids and then back home for cake...Nicorette announced mommy's age to the waiter...Very amusing (to me!)
Fun things to try on the web, cool places to go, interesting photos, movie and comic reviews, and whatever I feel like, since this blog is mine. THIS BLOG IS MINE! heh, heh.

A tradition going back to when Nicorette was young. It's a shame to destroy (via stains) clothing when the kids eat red pasta sauce. So I would take off their shirts and then my own to prevent that. I take mine off to make them cooperate. I think my wife even participated a few times (but don't tell anyone). Anyway, we had lasagna tonight and Nicotine Jr was wearing some of it. Luckily, no shirt to stain! See, it all makes sense...
Dr Horrible (all 3 parts) in case you missed it...It's also on iTunes.

This is from awhile back (when we still lived in Ohio). We haven't seen the white stuff in a few years (luckily). If we ever feel the need, we have photos to get us by. Chewie celebrated by eating a tissue, a receipt and some extra dog treats.
We went to a farmer's market in Lake Mary, FL. Picked up some essentials like popcorn, gourmet pasta, tea, cheese and a Pickle on a stick. Nicorette is holding it in this photo.
One of my favorite Chewbacca photos (taken today). I had to get into the bathtub to take it, but it turned out well.
Friday night, Nicorette and I went to a temple in Orlando. We really liked it, especially the butterfly garden that they have.
I finally got out to see The Dark Knight after the kids were in bed. On the way, I saw an amazing rainbow (post storm in Florida, of course). From one angle, it was even a double rainbow. Excellent movie, too.
After going to a paint your own pottery place with the kids, I caught these guys trying to look in the store/restaurants. At least they were quiet. And we were this close to them (I didn't need to zoom in)...
Both kids visible again. This went well at first and then Nicorette got difficult and we had to leave. Always the drama. The wife and I are solo tonight since we got a babysitter. I'm worn out. Went to sleep last night at 9pm...

This was after her first day of Sea World Camp. She didn't want to go - she was crying when I left her. But when I picked her up, she'd had a fantastic day, getting to see all sorts of animals up close. The second day was even better, even with storms all day. I'm worn out, but she's having fun...
Watch it! It's only up a few days and then the next segment is on. Very cool new internet only show.

I made these last night. Found a recipe on foodtv.com and tried it out. I'm not into baking as much as cooking, but these turned out great. They look strange but taste great. I'll definitely make them again. Nicorette liked them, too.
Looks like the pumpkins have died off, but the cucumbers have taken off and the watermelons are doing very well. Live and learn. Next year will be better.
Didn't try to catch Nic Jr in the photo, but little man ran into frame...At the Florida Mall after finding out my Powerbook (Apple laptop) had died. The hard drive went bad. Luckily, if there's a good side, I had purchased the Apple Care program (3 years of protection). So, they'll be replacing my hard drive with another and getting me back my computer in about a week. I had most (not ALL) of my stuff backed up. I immediately purchased the new Leopard OS since it has an automatic back-up system that would protect me for these types of things. The Apple Care purchase turned out to be a great buy since it already replaced a dead DVD-R drive. That and the hard drive total about 600 bucks. I probably paid about $250. The lesson here is to back up!!!!! By the way, I'm blogging this on my work laptop. It's not as good, but it's a way to get online...
We have a container to catch rain water that we use to water the garden and trees. He likes to collect the water in the pitcher and pour it on the trees. He gets upset if I try to help him. Very driven. This one's going on the ol' resume...He'll get a job by this time next year.
